Daniel’s Western Meat Packers, Inc., also known as Daniel’s Meat, was founded by Daniel Santos in 1953. What began as a small butcher shop in Pico Rivera, CA grew into the respected meat processor, distributor and trusted business it is today. Daniel’s Western Meat Packers is one of the largest purveyors of quality meat and wholesale food distribution companies located in Southern California. Daniel Santos’ son, Al Santos, along with his wife, Barbara, and two daughters, Lisa and Jackie, run the company today. They continue the family traditions and values the company was built upon.

We are a USDA-inspected and Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Point (HACCP) certified facility that employs experienced meat butchers who have been highly trained in portion and quality control, and food safety protocols. We have a number of check points to ensure the safety of products before they leave our facility for shipment. Daniels ensures products do not contain any extra trimmings or waste, and the portion requested by a customer is guaranteed to be safe and pathogen free after being tested by our in-house safety & quality control management team.
