Jaime Argueta is a master in meat packing industry knowledge and passionate about his longtime career at Daniel’s Western Meat Packers.
On any given crack of dawn, you’ll find Jaime in the plant, making his rounds throughout the production area, freezer, and Daniel’s offices.
From meat purchasing to inventory, Jaime plays an integral part of the Daniel’s customer experience and the overall success of the company, which he handles with great care and skill.
Along with his team, Jaime manages the company’s full inventory, communications with vendors, product pricing, and some areas of production.
“I handle inventory and pricing, and work closely with our production team. They have a lot of questions for me and feel comfortable asking me to make sure cuts and specifications are exactly how a customer wants it.”
Jaime has spent his entire meat industry career with Daniel’s and has experience in everything from the production plant to shipping and receiving in the warehouse.
It began in 1986. Jaime was hired by Daniel’s to run the hamburger patty machine, which he mastered and managed for several years.
After that, he learned another side of the business as a company delivery driver, and at the time, handled the Las Vegas area route before he was back in the warehouse sometime later as Shipping & Receiving Manager.
But 18 years ago is when the real magic happened, and Jaime found his niche as the company’s Meat Buyer.
“It was a little stressful in the beginning, but I got used to it. I love the people I work with. We work like a team, always communicating, and we always point toward the same direction. I’ve been happy here all this time working for Daniel’s.”
Around the office, Jaime is well-known for his calm demeanor, warm smile, and approachability.
As someone who has been with the same company for all his career, he has no regrets and still feels extremely grateful for all the experience he has gained.
“I like it here because Al and his family treat everyone so well. I have no complaints. We are his family.”
When Jaime isn’t at Daniel’s, you’ll find him home with his wife and kids.
